LOCATION:

Located on the unspoiled Eastern Coast of Zanzibar, Karafuu Hotel is approximately 65 km. from Zanzibar town and the airport. The hotel is built on seven hectares of pleasant tropical garden with extensive beach front.

NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:

1. Consists of 61 cottages and 31 standard air conditioned rooms, all built with local materials according to ancient Zanzibar traditions: roofs made of Makuti (palm thatch) and walls of coral.
2. The hotel is furnished with traditional Zanzibar furniture, and each room comprises of bedroom, veranda, dressing room or wardrobe, and bathroom in Carrara marble.
