The Southern Tanzania circuit is best suited for those looking for the real bush experience without the hassles of the annoying minibuses. The accommodation in these region is not cheap because they are personal and cater to smaller groups of people.

The parks found in the Southern circuit include Mikumi national park as well as Selous National Park. If you want to travel here, the best time to do so would be during the dry seasons around the month of June to November.
